Wrocław launches 2 billion PLN municipal waste tenders

The city of Wrocław is launching six separate tenders for the collection and management of municipal waste. The contracts, which are expected to last four years, have an estimated total value of approximately 2 billion PLN. The city is divided into six sectors for these procurement processes.

To improve service standards, the municipal company Ekosystem plans to equip garbage trucks with advanced technology, including scales, RFID, and video monitoring, to track waste collection. This move follows previous procurement difficulties that left the city's waste management system in a state of uncertainty.
