These tools are designed to track waste weight, identify specific containers being emptied, and monitor collection timing to ensure proper segregation and increase oversight regarding the volume and quality of waste disposed of by residents.

Additionally, new regulations mandate more frequent cleaning and disinfection of containers: three times a year for mixed waste and four times a year for bio-waste.
