Wrocław police arrest two suspects in attack on Ukrainian couple
Two men have been arrested following a violent attack on a Ukrainian couple in Wrocław on July 26. The incident began at a Żabka store after the victims confronted three men for cutting in line.
One of the detainees, Adam C., is a former gangster and boxer who recently completed a 10-year prison sentence. A second man, Tomasz N., was also apprehended. Both face charges of assault, nationality-based violence, and insults based on nationality. Prosecutors have classified the act as hooliganism.
Authorities are still searching for a third suspect, Jarosław R., who is allegedly linked to a former organized crime group from the 1990s. The attackers could face up to five years in prison, though Adam C. may face up to seven and a half years due to his status as a repeat offender.
