WWE considers December 2026 dates for John Cena Classic

WWE is reportedly considering two potential dates for the ‘John Cena Classic’ tournament in December 2026. Following confirmation from John Cena that the project will take place that month, internal discussions are focused on scheduling options.

One possibility involves holding the tournament on December 19, 2026, which would place it in direct competition with AEW’s ‘Worlds End’ pay-per-view event.

A second option suggests holding the tournament on December 12, 2026. Under this scenario, WWE could host ‘WrestlePalooza’ in Perth, Australia, earlier in the day, followed by the John Cena Classic in the United States. This would allow the tournament to function as a standalone event rather than part of a larger premium live event.

The tournament is intended to celebrate Cena’s career and the values associated with his persona, such as loyalty and respect. Fans may have the opportunity to determine the tournament champion.
