WWE John Cena Classic tournament planning

Overview

WWE is evaluating potential dates for the ‘John Cena Classic’ tournament, which is scheduled for December 2026 to celebrate John Cena’s career and retirement anniversary.

Internal discussions are focused on two primary scheduling options. One possibility is December 12, which could allow WWE to host the tournament in the United States following ‘WrestlePalooza’ in Perth, Australia, by leveraging time zone differences. The second option is December 19, a date that would place the tournament in direct competition with AEW’s ‘Worlds End’ and AAA’s ‘Guerra De Titanes’.

Cena has expressed interest in involving fans in the event, potentially allowing them to determine the tournament champion through a voting system.
