WWE considers moving Crown Jewel event amid Saudi security concerns
WWE is evaluating whether to move its Crown Jewel event, currently scheduled for November 7 at the Riyadh Seasonal Stadium, due to rising security concerns in Saudi Arabia.
The uncertainty follows recent Houthi attacks targeting infrastructure, including King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and energy facilities. These hostilities have led the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh to issue a security alert, advising U.S. citizens to exercise heightened vigilance due to potential threats against airports and airspace. The alert warns of possible flight cancellations and travel disruptions.
Despite these tensions, WWE continues logistical preparations for the event and maintains plans for WrestleMania 43 in the country. Internal discussions suggest the company could relocate the show without incurring major financial losses.
