WWE Crown Jewel remains scheduled for Riyadh despite regional security concerns

WWE is proceeding with its Crown Jewel premium live event, scheduled for November 7 at the Riyadh Season Stadium in Saudi Arabia. TKO Group Holdings CEO Ari Emanuel confirmed that preparations are continuing and the event is "still set," though the company is monitoring the situation daily and evaluating potential relocation options if necessary.

The decision comes amid heightened regional tensions and security warnings. The U.S. State Department has advised Americans to reconsider travel to Saudi Arabia, citing threats from Houthi attacks that have targeted civilian airports in the region. Reports indicate that non-essential diplomatic personnel and their families have been ordered to leave the country.

In preparation for the event, WWE plans to tape a special edition of SmackDown on November 2 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, to provide a pre-taped build-up for the show. Meanwhile, construction on the Riyadh Season Stadium is reportedly ongoing.
