WWE considers relocating Crown Jewel event from Riyadh
WWE is evaluating the possibility of moving its Crown Jewel premium live event, originally scheduled for November 7 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to a location in the United States. The potential relocation follows a series of security incidents in the region, including missile strikes targeting King Khalid International Airport that resulted in at least 12 deaths and over 300 injuries.
While WWE has continued to advertise the event in Riyadh on Monday Night Raw, reports indicate the company is monitoring the situation closely. Officials are reportedly in contact with private security firms and have been in discussions regarding the event's status. The uncertainty follows a Level 3 travel advisory from the U.S. State Department for Saudi Arabia and the postponement of other major regional events, such as the Six Kings Slam tennis tournament, due to logistical challenges.
Despite the discussions regarding a venue change, the current match card for Crown Jewel includes two Champion vs. Champion matches: Roman Reigns against Sami Zayn, and Liv Morgan against Chelsea Green.
