WWE discusses Crown Jewel event amid Saudi Arabia travel advisory

WWE is reportedly discussing the future of its Crown Jewel event in Riyadh, scheduled for November 7, following a new travel advisory issued by the U.S. Department of State regarding Saudi Arabia.

The U.S. government updated its advisory to a Level 3 status, urging Americans to reconsider travel to the country, with certain areas designated as Level 4, prohibiting travel. Reports indicate that while the November 7 date is expected to remain in place due to WWE’s commitments to ESPN, the company is evaluating whether it can safely send talent and personnel to the region.

Some discussions have centered on potential security concerns, including warnings regarding the Yemen border. Despite the advisory, WWE maintains a long-standing partnership with Saudi Arabia and has future plans for major events in the country, including WrestleMania 43.
