Roman Reigns retains World Heavyweight Championship against Penta in Mexico City

WWE Monday Night Raw returned to Mexico City at the Arena CDMX for its first broadcast from the capital in 15 years. In the main event, World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns successfully defended his title against Penta. Despite a high-energy performance from the local favorite, Reigns secured the victory following a Superman Punch and a Spear.

The event also featured several championship matches and qualifying bouts for the Money in the Bank ladder matches. Chad Gable successfully defended the Intercontinental Championship against Dragon Lee, while Je’Von Evans and Lola Vice secured their spots in the upcoming Money in the Bank matches.

Following the main event, LA Knight attacked Roman Reigns, setting up a championship match between the two at the Money in the Bank event in New Orleans. Additionally, the show highlighted Stephanie Vaquer’s recent Women’s World Championship win in Chile and continued storylines involving Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio.
