WWE SmackDown features Charlotte Flair and CM Punk in Lafayette

WWE SmackDown returns on October 9, 2026, airing live from the Cajundome in Lafayette, Louisiana. The event serves as a precursor to Money in the Bank 2026, featuring several high-profile superstars.

Charlotte Flair and Tatum Paxley are scheduled to challenge the champions, Fatal Influence (Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley), for the Women's Tag Team Championship. Flair expressed support for Paxley, noting that a victory would mark Paxley’s first main roster gold. The challengers enter the match with momentum following a non-title victory over the champions in September.

Other confirmed participants for the evening include CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Gunther, Kevin Owens, and Trick Williams. Several Money in the Bank contenders are expected to address the crowd in Lafayette.
