WWE staff express concern over Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia

WWE staff and talent are expressing growing concern regarding the company’s upcoming Crown Jewel premium live event, scheduled for November 7 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The uncertainty stems from regional instability and ongoing tensions involving Iran, which have led to a U.S. government travel advisory for Riyadh.

Reports indicate that employees at WWE headquarters in Stamford and staff backstage at television tapings are seeking clarity on whether travel plans will be revised, schedules changed, or the event rescheduled. As of now, WWE has not formally addressed the situation with its staff.

While there are concerns regarding the financial implications of potentially canceling or delaying the event, some analysts suggest that WWE could mitigate losses by adding a different date to their contract with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia if the scheduled trip becomes unfeasible.
