WWF Italia to host tenth Urban Nature festival in October 2026

WWF Italia is launching the tenth edition of its ‘Urban Nature’ festival on October 3 and 4, 2026. The event coincides with the 60th anniversary of WWF Italia and focuses on the theme ‘Nature Becomes Care,’ highlighting the connection between urban biodiversity, human health, and the protection of pollinators.

Across Italy, the festival will feature various activities, including biodiversity walks and educational programs in schools. In Rome, the program includes information points and meetings with youth to promote the relationship between urban environments and well-being. In Sant’Agnello, activities will use honey to demonstrate the importance of pollinators.

Donations collected during the event will support the WWF Nature Spaces Fund, which finances the creation of new ‘Nature Classrooms,’ hospital oases, and urban oases to increase green spaces in cities.
