Xapuri health workers await R$ 170,000 in qualification bonuses

State Deputy Adailton Cruz is demanding the release of over R$ 170,000 in parliamentary amendment funds intended for municipal health workers in Xapuri, Acre. The funds, which have been in the municipal health fund's account since June 22, are designated for a professional qualification bonus.

The initiative is expected to benefit more than 150 health professionals, with each worker receiving approximately R$ 1,100 net. Cruz stated that the necessary steps for the transfer were completed months ago and questioned why the local administration, led by Mayor Maxsuel Maia, has not yet distributed the payments.

A mobilization involving workers is scheduled for Tuesday, August 25, at the Xapuri Municipal Chamber to demand explanations and a definitive payment schedule from the municipal government.
