Xbox Game Pass adds Battlefield 6 and new titles in October lineup
Microsoft has announced a significant wave of new titles for the Xbox Game Pass service throughout October 2026. The primary highlight is Electronic Arts' Battlefield 6, which will join the Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass libraries on October 13. This release coincides with the game's fifth content season, featuring a Las Vegas-themed map and a Dead Space crossover event. Ultimate subscribers will also receive EA Play benefits, including the Deployment Pack and Season 5 rewards.
Other notable additions include the first-person soulslike Valor Mortis, arriving October 13, and the survival exploration game Deep Dish Dungeon, also debuting on October 13. The early part of the month features titles such as Echo Weaver, Forever Ago, and Neon Abyss 2, all arriving on October 8. The wave continues with Bluey’s Happy Snaps and Chained Beasts on October 15, followed by Beyond These Stars on October 16.
In a separate strategic move, Xbox has introduced a new business division called ‘XP’. Led by Kayleen Walters, formerly of Mojang, this division aims to centralize Xbox's efforts in film, television, merchandise, brand partnerships, and live events, such as theme parks, to expand its gaming brands into broader entertainment sectors.
