Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus announce removal of dozens of games
Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass will drop eight titles from its library at the end of June, including Mecha Break, Payday 2, Rise of Tomb Raider, Tomb Raider, Slay the Spire, Ultimate Chicken Horse, Volcano Princess and Unpacking. Subscribers are advised to play these games before they leave the catalog.
Sony’s PlayStation Plus service will remove twelve games from the Extra and Premium tiers by July 2026. The departing titles are Bomber Crew, Clash: Artifacts of Chaos, Cursed to Golf, Get Even, Hundred Days: Winemaking Simulator, Infinite Minigolf, Onee Chanbara Origin, Risk of Rain 2, Roki, Source of Madness, Space Crew: Legendary Edition and Tropico 6. PlayStation Plus members have a one‑month window to access the titles before they are discontinued.
Both companies are rotating their subscription catalogs, adding new games while retiring older ones as part of their ongoing content strategies.
