Xbox Game Pass delays Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 launch over licensing

Microsoft removed the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 remake from the Xbox Game Pass lineup scheduled for July 21, citing pending licensing approvals. The delay is linked to the renewal of music‑track rights from the original 1999 soundtrack, a process the company says is still under negotiation.

The publisher confirmed the title will still be added to the service later, possibly in August, and will be available in the Ultimate, PC and Standard categories. No other games were affected; Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 remains on Game Pass. Microsoft pledged to keep subscribers updated as the licensing issues are resolved.
