Xbox Game Pass loses eight games, including Crusader Kings III, on July 31
Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass service will remove eight titles on Friday, July 31. The departing games are Back to the Dawn, Celeste, Crusader Kings III, Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, My Friendly Neighborhood, Rain World, Sniper Elite: Resistance and Whiskerwood. The removals include celebrated indie platformer Celeste, Paradox Interactive’s grand‑strategy hit Crusader Kings III and the popular online game Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord. Subscribers expressed disappointment on Reddit, with some saying they might cancel their subscriptions.
Microsoft is offering discounts on some of the titles, notably a reduced‑price offer for Crusader Kings III from July 18 through July 31. New games will be added to the service in the coming weeks, such as The Planet Crafter (July 21) and Halo: Campaign Evolved (July 28), with August additions including Beast of Reincarnation and Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy.
