Xbox Free Play Days offers MLB The Show 26, The Alters and Stuffed at no cost

Xbox announced a limited‑time Free Play Days promotion running from July 9 to July 12 2026. Subscribers to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium or Essential can download and play MLB The Show 26 without charge, with full access to saves, achievements and game modes. The same promotion also includes the indie titles The Alters and Stuffed, which are offered for free during the same window.

The offer is part of Xbox’s Free Play Days initiative, which provides a 50 % discount on the Microsoft Store price for the game after the free period ends. By contrast, PlayStation’s similar service only offers a short trial of MLB The Show 26 for PlayStation Plus Premium users.

The promotion is available to Xbox users in regions where Game Pass is supported, allowing gamers to try a major baseball simulation and two additional titles at no cost for the weekend.
