Xi Jinping calls for long-term cultivation of correct political performance views

Xi Jinping has issued important instructions emphasizing the need to consolidate and expand the achievements of learning and education regarding the establishment and practice of a correct view of political performance. He stated that cultivating a proper view of achievements is a long-term task that requires continuous effort to ensure officials act in the public interest and make scientific decisions that can withstand historical scrutiny.

Xi highlighted that the education program has already achieved its expected goals by addressing deviations in performance views and establishing institutional rules. He called for regular education targeting local leaders, newly promoted officials, and young cadres. Furthermore, he stressed the importance of using performance as a benchmark for personnel selection, rewarding those who demonstrate practical results and responsibility.

In response, the Central Party Building Work Leading Group held a meeting chaired by Cai Qi to study these instructions. The meeting noted that while the specific learning phase has concluded, it marks a new starting point for establishing long-term mechanisms.

At the institutional level, organizations such as the Harbin Institute of Technology have begun implementing specialized lectures to align faculty and staff with these directives, focusing on translating these ideological principles into high-quality development and service for students and teachers.
