Xiaomi unveils Xiaomi 18 flagship and Redmi Note 17 series

Xiaomi is expanding its mobile lineup with the introduction of the Xiaomi 18 series and the Redmi Note 17 series. The flagship Xiaomi 18 series includes the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Pro Max, which feature high-end specifications such as the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset, 200MP cameras developed in partnership with Leica, and unique hardware-level privacy protection for displays. The Xiaomi 18 Fold is also noted for its wide-fold design. A standard Xiaomi 18 model is expected to launch in December, potentially featuring dual 200MP cameras and a 7,200mAh battery.

In the mid-range segment, the Redmi Note 17 series has been unveiled, including the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G. This series emphasizes durability with the Redmi Titan Quality standard and offers significantly larger batteries, such as the 10,000mAh capacity in the Pro Max model. The Redmi Note 17 Pro is also available, featuring an 8,340mAh battery and 67W charging. The series has reportedly surpassed 500 million total shipments worldwide.
