Xiaomi launches electric SUV bookings in Bangladesh while TECNO offers discounted smartphones in Pakistan

Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has broadened its presence in Bangladesh beyond smartphones by unveiling its new electric SUV, the YU7. Official reports say the vehicle secured a massive volume of bookings within minutes of launch, following the earlier introduction of the SU7 sedan. The company also introduced the Redmi 15C smartphone, featuring a 6.9‑inch 120 Hz display and a 6000 mAh battery, targeting the local Eid‑season market.

In Pakistan, Chinese brand TECNO, a leading AI‑powered smartphone maker, partnered with online retailer Daraz for a Brand Day promotion. The campaign provides up to 14% off on the TECNO Camon 50 series, including the Camon 50 Pro with a 50 MP Sony sensor, AI photography tools, and AMOLED display, aiming to make premium smartphone features more accessible to Pakistani consumers.
