Xiaomi launches SkyNomad N90 Max SUV with 1,705 km range
Xiaomi unveiled its SkyNomad SUV series built on the new Kunlun vehicle architecture. The lineup comprises the flagship N90 Max – a seven‑seat, 5.29 m long EREV SUV – and the smaller N70 Max – a five‑seat all‑wheel‑drive version. Both use a 1.5 L turbocharged gasoline engine solely as a range‑extender generator coupled with a 52 kWh or 76 kWh battery pack. The N90 Max achieves a combined driving range of up to 1,705 km, while its pure‑electric range is 464‑505 km; the N70 Max offers up to 505 km electric‑only range. Fast‑DC charging can add 285 km in 15 minutes. Power is delivered by a dual‑motor AWD system generating up to 416 hp, with 0‑100 km/h in 5.9 s and a top speed of about 190 km/h. The vehicles feature a reconfigurable interior with a flat floor, rotating seats, zero‑gravity seats and optional camping equipment. Pre‑orders opened on 30‑31 July 2026, drawing more than 60 000 reservations, most for the N90 Max. The official pre‑sale price for the N90 Max is 299,900 yuan (≈US$44 k) and for the N70 Max 259,900 yuan. Deliveries are slated for September 2026.
