Xiaomi launches two luxury electric SUVs, the Skynomad N70 and N90, in China

Xiaomi unveiled two large‑size electric SUVs, the Skynomad N70 and Skynomad N90, under its new Skynomad sub‑brand. Both models use an extended‑range system that pairs a 1.5‑litre, 150 hp gasoline generator from Changan with electric drivetrains. Battery capacities are offered at 52 kWh or 76 kWh, giving the N70 up to 505 km of electric range (CLTC) and the larger N90 up to 464 km. The N70 measures 4.96 m long and seats five, while the N90 is 5.28 m long with a 2+2+3 layout for up to seven occupants. Prices start at roughly €33,000 for the N70 and €39,000 for the N90, with orders already open and first deliveries expected this quarter.

The launch follows Xiaomi’s earlier EV entries – the SU7 sedan and YU7 SUV – which helped the company surpass 400,000 units sold in its first two years but have seen growth slow recently. The new Skynomad models are intended to boost market share in China’s competitive premium SUV segment and to sustain Xiaomi’s overall electric‑vehicle expansion.
