Xiaomi POCO F9 Ultra features Bose-tuned audio and 200MP camera

The Xiaomi POCO F9 Ultra features a high-performance hardware suite, highlighted by a unique 2.1ch speaker system. Developed in collaboration with Bose, the device includes a rear-mounted subwoofer to provide deep, three-dimensional sound, positioning it as a strong alternative to traditional Bluetooth speakers for media consumption.

On the imaging front, the smartphone utilizes a triple-camera setup, headlined by a 200-megapixel main sensor and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, alongside a 5x optical periscope telephoto lens. For power and processing, the device is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and a dedicated VisionBoost D8 chip for enhanced video processing. It also features a large 8050mAh battery supporting 100W fast charging.

While the device offers high-end specifications and IP68 water and dust resistance, it lacks FeliCa support, meaning it cannot be used for certain Japanese transit IC card payments like Suica, though it does support credit-based contactless payments.
