Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 and Note 17 Pro specs detailed ahead of July 14 launch

Xiaomi will unveil the Redmi Note 17 series in China on 14 July 2026, introducing two mid‑range models – the standard Note 17 and the higher‑end Note 17 Pro. Both phones feature unusually large OLED displays: a 7‑inch Samsung E4 Pro panel on the Note 17 and a 6.83‑inch 1.5K flat screen on the Pro, each with high brightness (up to 1,800 nits for the standard model and 3,500 nits for the Pro) and a 120 Hz refresh rate.

The Note 17 is powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 (some reports suggest Gen 2) processor, 8,000 mAh battery, 45 W wired fast charging and 22.5 W reverse charging, IP65 water‑dust protection, a 50 MP rear camera and an in‑display optical fingerprint sensor. The Note 17 Pro uses a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset, a 9,000 mAh battery with 67 W fast charging, the same reverse‑charging capability, IP66/68/69/69K ratings, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, a 50 MP main camera with additional ultra‑wide and selfie lenses, and also an under‑display fingerprint sensor. Both devices retain a plastic frame and are offered in a “Meteor Purple” colour option. The leak aligns with earlier Xiaomi confirmations and highlights AI‑based anti‑fraud features built into the series.
