Xiaomi's POCO M8 Power smartphone unveiled with 8000 mAh battery

Xiaomi confirmed the launch of the POCO M8 Power, a mid‑range smartphone scheduled for release on 4 August 2026. The device is equipped with an 8,000 mAh silicon‑carbon battery that the company says can deliver up to three days of use on a single charge. It supports 45 W fast charging and 22.5 W reverse charging, allowing the phone to act as a power bank for other gadgets.

The phone features a 6.9‑7‑inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, Full HD+ resolution and a peak brightness of 1,800 nits. Its rear camera module houses a 50 MP main sensor with an LED ring flash. The design, shown in black, silver and orange colourways, has a flat back and a squared‑off camera island that reviewers note resembles recent Apple iPhone styling. Pricing is expected to be around $230, with availability initially in India and potential expansion to other markets.
