Xing Bai Chen fans protest following public appearance with girlfriend

Fans of the Chinese drama ‘Bright Spring’ have launched a protest by calling for refunds on VIP viewing packages for the final episode. The backlash follows actor Xing Bai Chen appearing at an event with his real-life girlfriend, Liu Wen.

Viewers who supported the on-screen pairing of Xing Bai Chen and co-star Sun Tian expressed dissatisfaction, claiming the actor's public relationship with Liu Wen negatively impacted their viewing experience. Some protesters have reportedly attempted to request refunds without returning the product, a tactic typically seen in e-commerce disputes.

The controversy intensified after actor Li Cheng Hao made comments regarding Xing Bai Chen and his partner. In response to the rising tension, Liu Wen reportedly altered her travel plans to Beijing to avoid further complications.
