XLSMART launches XL Ultra 5G+ service in Bandung

PT XLSMART Telecom Sejahtera Tbk (XLSMART) has officially introduced its XL Ultra 5G+ service in Bandung and the wider West Java region. The new service offers internet speeds of up to 500 Mbps and is designed to support diverse digital needs, including education, business, and the creative industries.

In Bandung, the service utilizes a ‘5G Blanket Coverage’ approach, supported by over 1,000 5G Base Transceiver Stations (BTS) out of a total of 3,500 BTS in the city. The expansion also covers 15 other cities and regencies across West Java, where the company operates more than 6,300 5G BTS out of a total 52,000 BTS.

David Arcelus Oses, Director and Chief Commercial Officer of XLSMART, stated that Bandung was selected due to its dynamic educational, business, and creative sectors. The company aims to provide connectivity that offers real value for daily activities, including access to artificial intelligence, cloud storage, and international roaming.
