XLSMART 5G network expansion in Indonesia

Overview

PT XLSMART Telecom Sejahtera Tbk (XLSMART) has expanded its telecommunications infrastructure in Indonesia, specifically targeting the West Java region. The company launched its ‘XL Ultra 5G+’ service in Bandung, utilizing a ‘5G Blanket Coverage’ approach supported by over 1,000 5G base transceiver stations (BTS) in the city. This service, which offers speeds up to 500 Mbps, also extends to 15 other cities and regencies across West Java.

In addition to network upgrades, XLSMART expanded its physical service presence by opening the XL Center H Bastari in Palembang, South Sumatra. This facility serves as the company’s 121st service center nationwide, providing support for XL, XL PRIORITAS, AXIS, and SMARTFREN customers.
