Xpeng completes first production test of G9L SUV in Austria

Xpeng has successfully completed the first production test of its G9L luxury SUV at the Magna manufacturing plant in Graz, Austria. The G9L is the brand's largest and most expensive model, featuring advanced artificial intelligence integration and high-speed charging capabilities, with a reported 10% to 80% charge time of 10 minutes.

Following the assembly test, a pre-production model will travel from Graz to Paris to prepare for a global preview at the Automobile Saloon on October 12. This milestone marks the fourth Xpeng model to be manufactured in Europe, joining the G6, G9, and P7+.

The production at Magna supports Xpeng's localization strategy in Europe. The company has already delivered over 60,000 vehicles in the European market. The G9L is designed as a global model with planned commercialization in 64 countries and regions outside of China.
