Xpeng expands global electric vehicle presence in Europe, Middle East and Brazil

Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Xpeng is aggressively expanding its global footprint across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and South America.

In the Middle East and Africa, the company has begun volume shipments of its flagship GX SUV, with orders in the Middle East already exceeding 3,000 units. In Europe, Xpeng is strengthening its presence with the introduction of the G9L premium SUV in Germany, priced starting under €75,000, and the rollout of models like the L03, G6, and P7+ in markets such as Croatia and Hungary. The L03 model has reportedly seen significant interest, with 12,000 pre-orders in certain European regions.

Looking toward South America, Xpeng plans to enter the Brazilian market in the second half of 2027, with potential local assembly operations starting in 2028. The company is currently structuring its team and negotiating partnerships to facilitate this entry, with the G6 and G9 SUV models expected to be among the first available in the region.
