XRP Ledger activates fixCleanup3_3_0 technical amendment

The XRP Ledger (XRPL) has activated the ‘fixCleanup3_3_0’ amendment, a technical update designed to resolve errors within various protocol components. This measure is a maintenance step to clean up code related to Automated Market Makers (AMM), vaults, lending protocols, checks, and pseudo-account calls.

While the update prepares the technical foundation for future native lending services, it does not launch the lending features themselves. The actual activation of lending functionality remains dependent on a separate amendment known as ‘LendingProtocol,’ which currently has a default voting setting of ‘no.’

The amendment was activated after receiving support from over 80% of trusted validators for a sustained period. Server operators must ensure they are running compatible versions, such as XRPL 3.3.0 or higher, to avoid being in an ‘amendment blocked’ state, which would limit their ability to validate transactions and participate in consensus.
