Xsports to broadcast Russian Premier League on Brazilian free-to-air TV

Brazilian free‑to‑air channel Xsports, a 100 % sports broadcaster, has signed a two‑season contract to air the Russian Premier League (RPL). The agreement guarantees three league matches per round to be shown on open television, beginning with the 2026/27 season on Friday, 24 July.

Xsports says the deal expands access to international football for Brazilian viewers and highlights the presence of Brazilian players in the Russian league, including nine Brazilians at current champions Zenit St. Petersburg. The channel will debut the coverage with CSKA Moscow vs FC Baltika Kaliningrad on 24 July, followed by Spartak Moscow vs FC Rodina Moscow on 25 July.

The move adds another European competition to Xsports’ portfolio, complementing its strategy to democratise sport and provide more diverse football content to the Brazilian audience.
