XTU S7 Pro Budget Action Camera Launch Expands Affordable Creative Gear

The XTU S7 Pro action camera has been introduced at a price of $159 (£159), positioning itself as a low‑cost alternative to premium brands. It features a 1/2‑inch Sony CMOS sensor, a HiSilicon AI image processor, 4K video at 50 fps, 48 MP stills, dual screens, Wi‑Fi 6 and native Gyroflow support, plus a magnetic quick‑release mounting system designed for helmets and rigs.

Around the same time, DJI released the Osmo Pocket 4P, a handheld vlogging camera with a second lens, on 30 July 2026. The Pocket 4P is priced at £529 (€599) for the standard kit and £605 (€689) for the vlog kit, offering advanced stabilization, a 3‑axis gimbal and a suite of accessories such as the FrameTap remote, mic transmitter and lighting. The device is not yet available in the United States pending regulatory approval.
