Yacyretá Binational Entity reports 33.9 million USD in legal savings

The Yacyretá Binational Entity (EBY) reported that its legal advisory department saved approximately 33.9 million USD over a three-year period from August 2023 to August 2026. These savings resulted from favorable judicial rulings, settlements, and resolutions regarding labor matters and environmental certificate compliance.

Legal advisor Eduardo González Báez presented the report, noting that the avoided economic contingencies were distributed across different fiscal periods. Additionally, the legal department highlighted progress in regularizing land titles for families relocated to EBY-built housing groups, including the delivery of 189 titles and the designation of notaries for 769 additional cases.
