Yadea Vietnam receives dual green awards at 2026 Energy and Environment Forum

At the National Convention Center in Hanoi, the "World Energy and Environment – Vietnam 2026" forum gathered government leaders, ministries, and nearly 500 experts and business representatives to discuss Vietnam’s concrete roadmap to Net Zero. YADEA Vietnam was honoured with two prestigious green awards – the "Enterprise Green – Net Zero Action" award presented by Vice‑Prime Minister Nguyễn Văn Thắng and the "Enterprise Green – Net Zero Future 2026" award – and its chief executive Liu Jia was also named a "Green Citizen".

YADEA’s Vietnam operations include a smart manufacturing complex in Bắc Ninh covering 23 ha, with a US$100 million investment, a design capacity of two million electric two‑wheelers per year, 80 % localised supply chains and 95 % Vietnamese workforce. The company highlighted its collaborations on charging infrastructure, battery swapping and green mobility services.

The forum also featured remarks from VCCI Vice‑Chairman Nguyễn Quang Vinh, who stressed that businesses must translate sustainability commitments into measurable actions, noting challenges for SMEs in capital, technology and ESG data. Vice‑Prime Minister Nguyễn Văn Thắng outlined four strategic pillars for Vietnam’s Net Zero transition: energy shift without compromising growth, green finance and carbon markets, and empowering enterprises and localities to adopt clean technologies and ESG practices. SABECO’s Deputy CEO Larry Lee presented the company’s sustainability measures across its brewing, logistics and packaging operations, illustrating how large domestic firms can drive ecosystem‑wide environmental improvements.
