Yahuarcocha Autodrome hosts 12-hour endurance race after 55 years

The Yahuarcocha International Autodrome in Ecuador hosted a 12-hour endurance race on September 26, marking the return of the event after 55 years. The competition featured national and international drivers from Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia, Panama, and Peru.

The first-place overall finish and the P1 Prototype category victory went to the team of Abigail Ron, Marcelo Ron, G. Gómez, R. Saurith, and F. Ceballos, who completed 393 laps. The second-place position was secured by Xavier Villagómez, Felipe Gil, and Juan Manuel Correa, while Patricio Avellán, F. Pazmiño, and Álvaro Espinosa took third place.

Other category winners included Carlos Salazar, Álvaro Espinosa, Camila Espinosa, and Juan Espinosa in Gran Turismo; David Terán, Matías Burneo, A. Benavides, M. Goyes, and V. Chaparro in TC 1600 PRO; Juan D. García, Esteban Abello F., Galvis, N. Fondrini, and S. Prieto A. in TC 2000; and Patricio Avellán, F. Pazmiño, and Álvaro Espinosa in TC Open.
