Cagliari forward Yael Trepy recovers after near-drowning accident

Yael Trepy, a 20-year-old French forward for Cagliari Calcio, is recovering after a near-drowning accident in a swimming pool in Porto Cervo, Sardinia. The incident occurred on a Sunday when the player reportedly lost consciousness in deep water.

Following the accident, Trepy was airlifted to the Santissima Annunziata Hospital in Sassari, where he was placed in a medically induced coma and required mechanical ventilation due to respiratory complications from aspiration.
