Yamaha announces new 2027 color schemes for XSR900 series

Yamaha has announced new color schemes for its Sport Heritage lineup for the 2027 model year, focusing on the XSR900 and XSR900 GP models. These updates are aesthetic in nature and do not include mechanical changes.

The XSR900 GP will introduce the ‘Legend Blue’ livery, which pays tribute to French Grand Prix rider Christian Sarron and his championship-winning Sonauto Yamaha TZ250 from the 1980s. This design features a blue base with light blue ‘speed block’ patterns and yellow stripes, completed by racing-style yellow number plates.

The standard XSR900 will receive the ‘Neon White’ decoration, inspired by the YZF 750R from the mid-1990s. This color scheme utilizes a white base accented with pink and blue details. The XSR900 GP will also be available in ‘Neon White’ alongside its existing ‘Midnight Black’ option, while the XSR900 will offer the ‘Legend Yellow’ scheme.
