Yamaha Grand Filano Hybrid scooter claims 60 km per liter fuel consumption in Indonesia
Yamaha unveiled the Grand Filano Hybrid, a 125 cc scooter equipped with the brand's Blue Core Hybrid technology. The model combines an electric power‑assist start, a stop‑&‑start system, and precise fuel‑injection to boost efficiency. In World Motorcycle Test Cycle (WMTC) testing, Yamaha reported a fuel consumption of roughly 60 km per litre, with the official press release noting 60.2 km/L.
Weighing about 100 kg and featuring a 4.4‑litre fuel tank, the scooter targets young urban riders seeking both style and low running costs. It was showcased at a Sunset di Kebun event in Jakarta's Taman Mini Indonesia Indah in June 2026, where Yamaha also introduced new colour options such as Royal Iron, Prime Gray and Greenish Gray. Additional conveniences include a 27‑litre under‑seat storage, digital instrument panel, smart key system and smartphone connectivity via Y‑Connect.
