Amazon MGM Studios and Colour Yellow have announced the upcoming fantasy family-entertainment film, Nayyi Navelli, starring Yami Gautam Dhar. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 16, 2026, timed for the Dussehra festive weekend.

Set in a household in Meerut, the story follows a bride who appears to bring harmony to a chaotic family, only for her brother-in-law to suspect she may be a 'daayan' (witch). The project aims to blend family comedy, Indian folklore, and supernatural elements rather than following a traditional horror format.

The film is directed by Balaji Mohan and written by Himanshu Sharma and Divy Nidhi Sharma, with music composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar. It marks the Hindi debut for director Balaji Mohan.
