Yantai and Shiding authorities implement holiday safety and service measures

Authorities in Yantai and Shiding are implementing various safety and service measures to prepare for the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays.

In Yantai, Mayor Zhang Mingkang conducted inspections of public transportation, railway stations, and market supplies to ensure smooth holiday operations and food security. The city's highway departments have completed several road maintenance projects to facilitate travel and are operating highway service stations 24 hours a day. Additionally, the Huangbohai New Area has launched a specialized environmental sanitation campaign, utilizing mechanical and manual cleaning to ensure urban cleanliness.

In Shiding, the Xindian Police Bureau has integrated traffic safety education into Mid-Autumn celebrations. Officers are promoting a “culture of yielding” to pedestrians and reminding drivers to avoid drunk driving and speeding. Police have also planned traffic guidance and parking controls at popular scenic spots to manage the expected influx of holiday travelers.
