Authorities in Yantai, China, and Shiding, Taiwan, have focused on regional development and holiday preparations surrounding the Mid-Autumn Festival.

In Yantai, initiatives included the ninth China Farmers’ Harvest Festival in Laizhou, which showcased agricultural technology and production. The city also launched a three-year aesthetic education project to integrate culture into urban and rural landscapes. As the Mid-Autumn Festival approached, local leadership conducted inspections of public transportation, railway stations, and market supplies to ensure food security and smooth operations. Highway departments implemented road maintenance and 24-hour service station operations, while the Huangbohai New Area initiated environmental sanitation campaigns.
