Yatağan drinking water infrastructure renewal underway

MUSKİ, the water and sewerage administration of Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, has begun renewing a 2,500-meter drinking water pipeline in the Şeref neighborhood of Yatağan. The existing lines had reached the end of their service life, causing frequent breakdowns and water shortages.

The project is being conducted in coordination with road construction works managed by the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality to prevent environmental damage and public loss. So far, 1,800 meters of the new, larger-diameter pipeline have been completed. Once finished, the upgrade is expected to provide a more sustainable and uninterrupted water supply to the region, benefiting local residents and livestock farmers.
