Muğla drinking water infrastructure renewal

Overview

In Muğla, the water and sewerage administration (MUSKİ) has initiated the renewal of a 2,500-meter drinking water pipeline in the Şeref neighborhood of Yatağan. The project aims to replace existing lines that had reached the end of their service life and were causing frequent breakdowns and water shortages.

To date, 1,800 meters of a new, larger-diameter pipeline have been installed. The work is being coordinated with municipal road construction to minimize environmental damage and public loss. Once completed, the upgrade is expected to provide a more sustainable and uninterrupted water supply for local residents and livestock farmers.
