YEIDA announces major industrial and logistics expansions in Uttar Pradesh

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is advancing significant industrial and logistics infrastructure projects in the region surrounding the Noida International Airport. During the inauguration of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2026, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah presented land allotment letters to five companies representing a combined investment of Rs 469 crore. These projects, covering over 71,000 square meters, are projected to create approximately 4,625 jobs.

Key recipients include C&R Textiles Private Limited, Perfectpack Limited, SABS Exports International Private Limited, Simplast India Private Limited, and Sahu Exports Private Limited.

In a separate development, YEIDA’s 93rd board meeting approved plans for a 200-acre multi-modal logistics park at Tappal-Bajna, with land to be offered via e-auction. The Authority is also planning a massive industrial node spanning roughly 8,000 hectares south of the Noida International Airport and is appointing consultants to draft a master plan for the zone. To ensure long-term maintenance of civic infrastructure, YEIDA has finalized the Corpus Fund Investment Regulation 2026-27, which will use interest from invested lease rents to fund repairs for roads, water supply, and drainage networks.
