YEIDA industrial and logistics expansion in Uttar Pradesh

Overview

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is advancing large-scale industrial and logistics infrastructure projects near the Noida International Airport in Uttar Pradesh.

Initial developments included the presentation of land allotment letters to five companies for projects totaling Rs 469 crore, which are expected to create approximately 4,625 jobs. YEIDA also established the Corpus Fund Investment Regulation 2026-27 to utilize lease rent interest for the maintenance of civic infrastructure such as roads and water supply.

Subsequent actions focused on the approval of a 200-acre multimodal logistics park at Tappal-Bajna to support warehousing and supply chain services. Plans were also solidified for an 8,000-hectare industrial node south of the Noida International Airport, including the development of a master plan to expand the regional manufacturing base. Additionally, the Uttar Pradesh government extended the term of Rakesh Kumar Singh as CEO of both YEIDA and Noida International Airport Ltd until September 30, 2027.
