YEIDA approves new logistics park and industrial node near Noida Airport

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has approved the development of a 200-acre multimodal logistics park at Tappal-Bajna. Located near the Noida International Airport, the park is designed to support warehousing, supply chain services, and the movement of export-oriented and time-sensitive cargo.

Additionally, YEIDA is planning an 8,000-hectare industrial node south of the Noida International Airport to expand the region’s manufacturing base and strengthen supply-chain connectivity. The authority is also developing a master plan for this node to provide infrastructure for various industrial projects.

In a related leadership development, the Uttar Pradesh government has granted a one-year extension to Rakesh Kumar Singh as the CEO of both YEIDA and Noida International Airport Ltd (NIAL). Singh, a 2009-batch IAS officer, will continue in his role until September 30, 2027, overseeing critical infrastructure and urban development projects in the Yamuna region as the airport nears commercial operations.
