Argentina’s Servicio Meteorológico Nacional (SMN) has issued multiple yellow alerts: one for intense snow and white‑out winds in the Chubut cordillera, forecasting 20‑50 cm of snow and reduced visibility; another covering storms, hail and strong winds in five northern provinces, with 30‑50 mm of rain anticipated; and a separate alert for Entre Ríos province expecting 30‑50 mm of rain and gusty winds. A further warning was released for Santa Cruz province, predicting 10‑25 mm of rain.
In Mexico, the monsoon combined with a tropical wave is projected to bring very heavy rain to 31 states, with accumulations of 50‑75 mm in many areas and temperatures exceeding 45 °C in Baja California and Sonora.
